Every penny from these purchases goes to the Bonamanzi & K9 Ranger projeect - putting paws and boots on the ground 

In 2022 a heart-wrenching 448 Rhinos were killed in South Africa, 244 of whom were killed in Kwazulu Natal  Bonamanzi itself has seen their giraffe population plummet from 48 to just 21.  In December 2022, two Rhino died as a result of poaching on Bonamanzi Reserve.

We visited Bonamanzi Game Reserve to conduct a Snare Patrol alongside the Anti Poaching Rangers and their K9s.  Sadly, during a snare patrol, we were met with the sight of an ensnared, dead Wildebeest. Snares are found on a daily basis, it feels like a never-ending problem for the Reserves, the particular area we patrolled had 76 snares on the last sweep.

From an area no bigger than a quarter of a football field, the rangers dismantled 49 snares;
In just 3 days, the Rangers had removed 123 snares.
