£35 Juniors Keepers - June - September 2024

Whack on your Wellies and join our Keepers as you go behind the scenes and become a Junior Keeper for the day. Prepare to get mucky and get a taster of what being a Keeper here at Safari Zoo entails – make no mistake of it, this is a busy day, they will sleep well tonight!
Your day starts at 9am with a tasty breakfast served at 9am, the keeper leading the experience will collect the juniors at 9:30am to begin the experience. The Junior Keeper experience varies week to week but will include a selection of elements from the following activities;
Preparing animal food
Feeding animals
Helping with animal healthchecks
Helping bath and weigh tortoises
Mucking out animal enclosures and houses
Scrubbing and refilling water bowls
Cleaning walls/doors
Replenishing the Animal Beds
Making enrichment items
Raking sand in the enclosures
Pooh Picking
At 11:30am we will be enjoying sausage and chips in Tibor's Plaice Restaurant.
The experience finishes at 1:30pm when the munchkins will be ready to be collected from our admissions building, or there is the option to meet and collect from the Madagascar area if you/the wider family are joining us for the day. You can add discounted admission tickets to your purchase here too!
ADD ON FEEDING PACKAGES:
Your cub can hand feed a Big Cat, Giant Otter and enjoy a mini behind-the-scenes-experience with the keepers choice of animal for just £30 extra. If you choose the add on package the experience will finish at 3pm instead of 1pm

Suitable for ages 6-15 years.
The Summer Specials Junior Keepers are redeemable August 2023 only, dates must be chosen at the point of booking. It may be possible to transfer your booking to an alternative Summer Specials date subject to availability, an administrative fee of £10 per amendment will be payable for bookings more than 7 days in advance. For changes made to a booking due to take place within 7 days of the requested amendment, an administrative fee of £25 per ammendment will be payable.
