Join our Capybara Keepers for a close encounter with everyone's favourite Giant Rodents!

Your purchase includes the encounter for one person to meet the Capybara in this close encounter of a furry kind, which includes the opportunity to hand feed with their specially chosen and vet approved nutritional snacks!   You'll get to understand how our procedures and routines allow us to operate in a safe way whilst maintaining the highest standards of care and welfare for these beautiful Capys.  

The Capy Experience are suitable for Capy lovers of all ages, all under 16s must be accompanied by an adult who has also purchased an equivalent encounter voucher.

You will need to arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of your encounter.

Once you have booked your date either at the point of checkout or via bookings@cumbriazoo.co.uk if choosing an undated encounter, amendmentsto date will be subject to a £15 administration fee per place for bookings due to take place more than one month in advance, a £35 administration fee per place will be payable for changes to bookings due to take place more than 7 days in advance. For changes to bookings due to take place within 7 days, a £50 administration fee per place will be payable.
