Whack on your Wellies and join our Keepers as you go behind the scenes and become a Bid Keeper for the Day.  Prepare to get mucky and get a taster of what being a Bear & Roo Keeper here at Safari Zoo entails – make no mistake of it, this is a strenuous experience, you will sleep well tonight!

The experiences vary but will include a selection of elements from the following activities; Preparing animal food, Feeding animals, Helping with animal healthchecks, Mucking out animal enclosures and houses, Scrubbing and refilling water bowls, Cleaning walls/doors, Replenishing the Animal Beds, Making enrichment items, Raking sand in the enclosures, Pooh Picking

• Keeper for the Day Experiences run daily, only one of these Keeper for the Days can run on any given day.
• If you are purchasing as a gift and do not know when the recipient will be able to visit please choose the "Undated" option so they can choose their only date.  A supplement is payable for undated experiences - this is shown prior to checkout.

• Please note that some enclosures are accessed via steps and/or have uneven surfaces, please contact us ahead of purchasing to discuss any access needs.

• Once booked via the above email address, amendments to Keeper for the Day bookings will be subject to a £75 administration fee per place for bookings due to take place more than one month in advance, a £95 administration fee per place will be payable for changes to bookings due to take 30 - 7 days in advance. For changes to bookings due to take place within 7 days, a £125 administration fee will be payable.
