Berettavale Bandit Adoption & Admission Package

Everyone, meet Springer Spaniel Bandit. This Very-Im-Paw-tant New Pup on the Anti-Poaching block was donated to Tango K9 by Berretavale Detection. If that name sounds familiar you’d be right – that’s the very pawesome person that trained Springer Spaniel Indy and set her off on her journey as a pawesome bushmeat detection dog!

Bandit has joined an established, paw-fessional, team of K9s at Tango K9 whose skills include trailing, scent, detection and apprehension. Bandit’s skills will be honed in the specialist detection of contraband at entry points to Kruger National Park, protected by Tango K9.

Bandit is loving life with his team at Tango K9, lots of exposure to new and exciting sights, sounds and smells - all of which he will encounter in his working role with the Anti Poaching Unit. Today, Bandit had his first day on road blocks, learning new search patterns. This is a very important stage in BANDITs life where so much can be learnt

We caught up with Andy of Berettavale Detection regarding Bandit’s donation, Andy told us this is his opportunity to give back and in his own words, he just wants to “put paws on the ground”.
