Join our Bear Keeper for a snout to nose encounter with the adorable Andean Bears.
Your encounter will last between 20 and 30 minutes and also includes a behind the scenes look at the animal kitchen where you will be preparing treats, plus opportunity to ask the keepers anything you want to know about life as a Bear's human friend!
The Bear Encounter is suitable for bear-lovers aged 6 and above, all under 16s must be accompanied by an adult who has also purchased an equivalent encounter voucher.
You will need to arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of your encounter.
Once you have booked your date either at the point of checkout or via bookings@cumbriazoo.co.uk if choosing an undated encounter, amendmentsto date will be subject to a £15 administration fee per place for bookings due to take place more than one month in advance, a £35 administration fee per place will be payable for changes to bookings due to take place more than 7 days in advance. For changes to bookings due to take place within 7 days, a £50 administration fee per place will be payable.
