Join our Lemur Keepers for a close encounter with our resident Lemurs, you'll get to come behind the scenes to help prepare some vet approved healthy treats before we head of to the Lemur House to meet our Ring Tailed, Red Ruffed and Black and White Ruffed Lemurs, as well as the resident tamarins, for an upclose encounter of the furry kind!

You'll get to understand how our procedures and routines allow us to operate in a safe way whilst maintaining the highest standards of care and welfare for these larking lemurs. 

The Lemur Experience is suitable for Lemur lovers of all ages.  Please note all under 16s must be accompanied by an adult who has also purchased an equivalent encounter voucher.

You will need to arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of your encounter.

Once you have booked your date either at the point of checkout or via bookings@cumbriazoo.co.uk if choosing an undated encounter, amendmentsto date will be subject to a £15 administration fee per place for bookings due to take place more than one month in advance, a £35 administration fee per place will be payable for changes to bookings due to take place more than 7 days in advance. For changes to bookings due to take place within 7 days, a £50 administration fee per place will be payable.
