You guys asked, so we’ve delivered, for all the little ones desperately waiting to be old enough to do the Junior Keeper experience, wait no more! Whack on your little Wellies and join our Keepers as you go behind the scenes and become a mini Keeper for the day. Prepare to get mucky and get a taster of what being a Keeper here at Safari Zoo entails This experience is designed for 1 child aged between 3 and 6 years and one adult (18+) attending in a supervisory/chaperone capacity. You will be in a mixed group of up to 6 infants, accompanied by their chaperones. Additional chaperones/infants may be added at the point of checkout.
Your day starts at 9am, the Infant Keeper experience varies week to week but will include a selection of elements from the following activities;
Helping to Bath and Weigh tortoises Measuring and weighing the snakes Light cleaning Refreshing animal beds Counting the Lemurs Counting and feeding the Kangaroos Feeding Penguins Feeding Giraffes Feeding the Ducks and/or fish Scatter Feeding the Primates Once you have booked your date either at the point of checkout or via bookings@cumbriazoo.co.uk if choosing an undated encounter, amendmentsto date will be subject to a £15 administration fee per place for bookings due to take place more than one month in advance, a £35 administration fee per place will be payable for changes to bookings due to take place more than 7 days in advance. For changes to bookings due to take place within 7 days, a £50 administration fee per place will be payable.
